false knock question

If I am in the gas and then let off while Im still spooled up, I get some knock (2-6). I'm sure its just from letting off while its boosting because It doesnt happen if I come out of WOT slowly. Could be a dumb question, but how bad is it for the car to lift out of WOT or 3/4 throttle so that it chirps and drops down quickly?

The knock is probably coming from the engine being torqued over during the WOT blast and when you slam the throttle shut the engine torques back and you have something hitting the frame like the exhaust (Down pipe?)

Its got to be something torquing down when I let off. I will have to check and see if its something hitting the motor this evening.
