Got a question about the stock fan. I noticed Fri nite that the car was running warm once i got off the highway. The temp passed 200, and I stopped and opened the hood, and the fan was not running. However, if I turn on the a/c it WILL run. I do not have the resistor any more as it broke and I just ran a short wire and jumped it. The fan used to work, but not now. Is there a separate wire for running it for the a/c, or is this a sensor issue? Scanmaster is reading the temp from somewhere, but it seems like a sensor because why would it run with the a/c on, but not at 200 deg, and no a/c? If there is only 1 hot wire for the fan, it would seem that it would have to be a sensor. Thanks.
