Ok, my car is an electrical nightmare, now here's the deal

When I got the car, the fan would turn on around 180-200, and stay on until the car was shut off

The fan burned out a while later, so I got a replacement. Did the same thing above for a while, now it won't turn on at all. I replaced all three fan relays on the driver side and still nothing. If I take a wire and put it in the relay plug, the fan will turn on so I know it works.

What could be causing the fan NOT to turn on, if the relays are new?

How do I hotwire the fan to come on at startup and turn off when ign off? And which wires?

HELP! Car is running over 210!!!

Ok. First thing: pull the relay connectors off and look to see if the terminals are covered in melted plastic. Mine were, and cleaning them out the best i could with an exacto blade helped alot. The fan operation was totally unpredictable before I did this. Another thing: The high speed fan switch (just looks like a sensor) on the intake manifold, right under the TB and a little towards the drivers side....that could be bad, but I wouldnt count on it. If fixing the relay connector issue doesnt work, replace the relay that controls high speed fan operation. If that doesnt work, splice a wire into that high speed fan switch wire I was talking about. Run the wire to a manual switch, and the switch ground terminal to a body ground. Or, you can just run a wire straight from the switch wire to a body ground and it will run all the time when the ignition is on. My fan operates fine now. But even with a 160 thermostat and redline water wetter, my engine runs at like 215 degrees. Thats a fine operationg temperature as long as I dont get into boost. Its actually good for the motor during cruise conditions, to run that hot.

When should the electric fans come on? I did the Fbody radiator, ramcharger fans and 160 degree thermostat and I still start to get up to 200 in traffic (it's been in the high 90's around here lately) without the AC on. The fans only seem to kick on when the temp has already gotten to 200 and when I park the car after a long drive they run for a few minutes. Shouldn't they come on at a lower temp?

Sorry to highjack.
