fast 2nd gear shift

i have a 2004r rebuilt about 6 months ago just the other day it started kinda shifting over 2nd gear. It goes from 1st to 2nd but only for an instant minute than to third gear and forth. It does go to 2nd but bearly. If you shift it manually than it goes fine? Thanks in advance.

The very first thing to do would be to check the condition and adjustment of the TV cable. If this has broken or become grossly misadjusted, your transmission would soon be toast.
