FAST XFI DASH DATA LOGGER

Just wondering if anyone had tried this yet? Anyone installed one in a TR? Ive got mine on order and should be here Wednesday:biggrin: . It will take me a while for the install. Im trying to decide between machining a mount out of aluminum and getting it powdercoated black or building a small box to sit it in flush and getting it coverd to match my dash, stiched and everything. Either way it will be a clean install and Ill have pics to show it off. Give me some feedback on which route you think to take as far as mounting it. I appreciate it

I think making it fit flush it the factory location behind the glass (plastic) is the way to go. It's not a very large unit so using the speedo with all the other options at once would make a really small speedo for ya. Kool unit tho.

Post some pics for sure when you have it installed. I was looking at one of those at one time before I sold my car.

How are you doing now? My plan is to actually mount it where most put the scanmaster(above ac controls) at an angle facing driver seat cause my cluster still works fine other than the speedo pegged at 85

Im more miserable then ever. Thanx for asken tho. I just found out that I have a co-infection called babesia along with Lyme. Its basically Malaria. I will be going on a PICC line soon which is basically a catheter that goes in my arm and comes out near my heart for IV antibiotic treatments for the next 6 months. Should be fun....

Get creative with the unit. Design something someone else hasn't and make it appear factory. That's what I wanted to do. Awesome piece tho. It seems to do a lot of different things and monitors a sh!t load more with all kinds of warning alerts as well.

Well I hate to hear that Brett and hope you get better. It is a cool product and has tons of features. Ill get it today and post pics on the install as I go along in this thread.

I have one. If you have an XFI make sure you get the CAN harness which doesnt come with the logger. You'll need that to read the XFI. Also the screen is a touch screen, keep in mind before placing it behind plastic and such.

I'm in love with mine.. I can change guages on the fly.. and it allows 6 different sensors to be read on the main dash with RPM. Like A/F, IAC, Coolant, Fuel, Oil, etc..
