Fast Question on map sensors

I was going through some of the tables and I have a question about the map parameter table. I know when I went to the operations set up I put in a 3 bar sensor for my aplication but what is the map sensor parameter for on the edit tables. It is currently set to 111 limit, what sould it be? Looking at the map
tables they go up to 314kpa. I am confused as to what this is doing. Will this limit my computer from recognizing any thing over 111kpa?
