What time are you guys running on a trans plus?Just want to see were I'm at.

My best time 11.88 at 117 and I went a 11.89 at 115 mph.I now put on some new heads and intake and cam and have to re tune again.I still learning about the trans plus.Now your turn.
 
I have gone 10.72@128 with a bunch left in it. That was only my second time to the track with the car. Seems to be working good so far.

I belive 750HP (Neal) has gone 10.2x@134 or so with a Translator and 3.5" MAF.

Not sure if there are any 9's out there.

I'm just trying to tune my car and I need help that is why I asked this question.My car s rich at bottom end and sluggish and At top end I have a lean 720 o2.I'm just trying to get a feel for the switches .Can you help?I have a te 63 75 pound inj C.A.S front mount and a 9.5 vigilanti 3200 stall 5 disk lock up'3'5 mas trans plus.Now I have new heads and intake ported and a double fuel pump and a duttw.cam 212.What Idid befor was take out 8% fuel at wot and had the timming +8% .The car ran 870 at the bottom and leaned out at top end .I had to put the fuel pressur at 40 because it was rich at 42 and 45 were it said to putin the instruction.When I got home I seen switch # one that said buick lean at idile at # 2 turn.Is this were i miss the boat?Also at top end there are pops and a no pull feeling anymore.When I look at the direct scan there is a glitch or spick through all the graphs.If anyone who has a sim.setup give me some help that would be great.
 
Don't want to beat a dead horse, but I've found the o2 numbers to be useless on my car. Stock o2's suck, get an egt gauge. I run mid 600's on my o2's, 12:1 A/F and still kinda rich! I would set everything back to base and go from there with an egt. HTH.

Question, are you running the Extender chip? or Who's chip?
Unless you're running an Extender chip the switch labeled MAF WOT will have little to no affect.
 
haven't taken the gn to the track yet (motor under the knife), but the previous owner ran 10.58@127. i hope i can at least run somewhere in that vicinity when i get the motor done.
lots of tuning ahead of me.

Extender chip is used on each pass and with c116 in the tank.I'm just thinking should I lean it out a idle and play with the timimg and If it still run rich take out fuel at wot?What kind of timing,( 26 d.total.)I never got any knock. Has anyone experanced that poping or miss at higher boost (20 to 22 #) Everthing is new in the car .coil pack wires (10 ml Magnacor ) fuel filter reds double pumper Ac cr 42 plug set at 32 gap..Am I missing somethig?

Oh it will have an effect--Your car will run like crap, hesitate, have slower spool. Dont ask how I know:D

The best place to start is find the MAF BASE setting which best suits your car. Find the setting that gives you the best idle BLM cell numbers. As close to 128 as possible, anything from 120-136 would be nice, and remember take the car out for a drive around test when making adjustments. Don't just change a switch and let it idle in the driveway, you'll get funky numbers. If you can get close, then a few little tweeks on fuel pressure to get it even closer will be best.

Now, once the MAF BASE switch has been set, you should NEVER have to mess with it again.
Now you can work on finding the best MAF WOT setting to control your fuel further down the track, or further into your WOT run.
Remember, the setting you use for street should (for safety's sake) be a little richer (790-820) that what you'll use at the track (whatever you can get away with, but 750+)
Keep good notes on what settings are for what.

The hardest part is getting the BASE set correctly.
Your dip swithes are on on off off, right?

I will be exchanging your chip for an Extreme this week. That should fix
all your tuning issues.

The chip upgrade will ship with the ECMs.

that right ,on,on,off,off.my block learn was at 124 for street ,I don,t remember what it was for race gas.But would the timming at wot be around 26 drg.?
