I thought you didn't like taking credit for an outlaw pass. That's what you said last year on here.

There has been a little talk in the last couple of months that if you don't do it at a event it doesn't matter. I'd say from the title of the thread it must mean something!!!!

Exactly.. On the 9sec TSM LEGAL list it matters to me.

On the Fastest Hydraulic Roller List.. It's no holds barred!

Don,
Am I seeing everything in this picture correctly? There is something very interesting in it.

Do you know what I'm talking about?

Jason,

Congrats!

the cam/chain setup. Is this the setup in your 8 sec motor? I see the picture was from last year.

That is my engine that Don built.. That pic was taken when he freshend it up last year. Notice the beehive springs :D

ah.. I saw the cam setup and thought...eek! don's running numbers with a hydraulic roller (off the shelf) with solid roller lifter!?!?! obviously I was wrong.

I guess I need to get someone over there to steal the cam out of your engine.

I'd be more than happy with last year's cam that was matched to the unported heads!

congrats..................

i am blown away...i would like some info on your combo...is the 109 block half filled and do you have a girdle and caps or just caps...any info is greatly appeciated.........Bob

No block fill, ZERO notta none!
No extra head bolts, Standard ARP head studs, 3 bolt T&D rockers
No head clamps
Cometic gaskets
RJC Girdle with stock caps

This engine was designed around being able to drive it around town and still put down a number!

thanks

i am in need of a stout short block and wanted to go with a bigger cam.old atr 212/206 now.guess i will give DLS a call. your car is getting it done for sure and that's what i am looking for...........Bob

I'm very interested in some of the valvetrain specifics, most importantly, what roller tappets ? What valvesprings ? and what kind of seat/open pressures are you running.
Cam specs would be nice to know too... but I understand that may be asking alot. :D

PM me if you'd rather keep the info off the public record. ;)

Jason is very open and honest about his stuff. My feeling is he will have no problem sharing this information on here to help everyone. Well maybe no the cam specs but at least the rest.

See ya, Kip
