Hi, even though I dont own a Buick, I thought someone here may be able to help me, since I have a GM. . . my 1990 pontiac (with turbo) smokes quite badly, but only after it warms up (usually after 5-10 minutes). I'v heard that it might be caused my faulty turbo seals. Does anyone know how I can check to see if it's the turbo that is faulty, OR if it's the rings or pistons? There seems to be good pressure in the cylinders.

thank you for any ideas

Take the exhaust housing off the turbo after it starts smoking. If there is fresh oil there it is the turbo. If not, it ain't. :)

Might as well take the intake pipe off too and look for oil could be both seals.
