Fed mogul superseded 6-3755apa bearings?

I ran across an old buick performance article where they used a slightly wider rod bearing. Fed mogul PN 6-3755APA. VS. the STD width rod bearing 6-3755AP.

The APA bearing has been superseded with PN 3760a. Anyone know if this new PN is still ok to use? Now it's autozones brand "Sealed Power" "A-series" bored aluminum bearing.

i ordered the 3755apa from RockAuto and got 3760A ....i would also like the answer to your Oct 25-2010 post...lol

everywhere i've looked says they are wider, bimetal, more resistance to wear.
