So last year the poor bastard takes a rear suspension spring to the beak at 180 mph. Goes through a coma, recovers and is back in the seat this season.

He struggles a bit through the first half of the season....but today he showed his medal.
Right from the lights he jumped out in front of Vettel and teammate Alonso. Holds P1 almost the entire race. Alonso wakes up and pulls off a couple of real fast sector times. His crew then notifies Ferrari that he is faster than Massa....who is still 2 seconds ahead of Alonso. Ferrari then tells Massa to let Alonso pass.
Massa does not respond until the next lap where he intentionally lifted in front of pit wall to let Alonso pass.
If the situation was reversed, Alonso would have told the chief to tell Massa to come and take it. He would not give it away.

Sorry just venting....the F.IA. Is a crock.

Then to find out later that Ferrari was fined 100k because of the pressured pass. What the heck man?

Over all though that was one he'll of a race today.

??

"Over all though that was one he'll of a race today."

What's "racing" have to do with a manipulated outcome???
Sounds like WWE.....
My grandma always told me that "wrasslin" was real, and the moon walks were fake. I guess the same logic can be applied to F1 racing???;)

It was the fact that they didn't let "racing" happen.

F1 will share a similar fate as NASCAR I fear.

Thank Goodness football season is almost here.

Yep!

Only difference now is the investment and technology involved..Cookie cutter cars, rules that are to the point of being absurd, will be the demise of both programs.

Notice how the cameras stay off the stands at NASCAR events?? Nothing to see!
Once the "fix is in" is realized by the fans @ F1, it'll be the same result.:frown:

I watched a few minutes of the NHRA fiasco.. SSDD. The John Force family hour...
IMO, NHRA won't be far behind the other racing programs in it's decline to obscurity.
I was an avid drag racer for nearly 50 yrs... Wouldn't walk across the street for tickets to a natl event...
