The problem is the trans/converter...... I haven't taken the motor out yet. Not too motivated to......Might do it tomorrow but not sure. Really don't care as I won't be racing it till BG next year so what's the rush......
Can't be on a trans brake as long as I had to be to get to launch boost. Pretty much that simple. That and the fact there is too much converter pressure pushin on the thrust bearing. I've talked to a few people and I have roughly 40% over the recommended pressure in the cooler output line on the brake. If I had a 200 in the car, that motor would have survived a couple years I bet. Try again next year I guess......Gonna go with a differant cam though......
