Just wondering what you guys think I should do. I am taking my tranny in for a rebuild, and was wondering what I should buy to put into it. I have been having a pretty bad flare issue. What would fix this? A Pump? If so which is the best? Something else? I want it to be right, but have to keep as budget oriented as possible

there are many things to consider based on power output.my 200 page manual would give you an in depth logical approach as to selecting what is needed ,at what power level and why.

How about trying to sell me some parts instead of a book. Do you think a pump would fix this issue. Yours seems good, and relatively well priced.

a new blueprinted pump is always a nice addition to the rebuild however finding the cause of the flair with a pressure gage should be done before removing the transmission.when did it flare,what ratios?

Tranny is already out (along with the engine), but it was mainly on the 2-3 shifts and a little on 1-2.
