Also in Production....Fiberglass Front Bumper!
This bumper will be a Bolt On, Complete Replica of an original!
We will be taking pre-orders for these and bringing them to Reynolds.
Price and Digital Pictures will be released soon.

Cal, I want to get an early start this year and reserve one for Cecil Co in October if you are coming up. Also have to ask again, any chance of a trunk lid? Pleeeease? :-)

Still up in the air about Cecil County or Noble. If I don't make Cecil, I can probably give the hood to someone at Reynolds that will be passing through your area.

Unfortunately at the time, my fiberglass guy does NOT have a mold made for the deck lid. So it won't be anytime soon. Maybe in the future if we can get him a good deck lid to make the mold.
Sorry :(

Needs a third Fluorescent bulb to be symmetrical - can you get Pink lights instead of white?

Anyone from the NY area going to be there?

Not sure how many of the Northern Guys are going to make Reynolds, but hopefully someone comes down from the NY Area and can pick you up a hood.

Hopefully someone up there will respond to your post and do you a Favor!
I will let you know if I find someone for you.

Just wanted to say I was at a local car show a week or so ago and a Guy had one of the fiberglass hoods on his TR. I was impressed with how much detail went into the lips on the sides, hood scoop etc.... They are nice looking pieces!!!

How much does the hood weigh? I am very tempted to drop the stock hood.

I don't remember the exact weight, but I believe it is 28 lbs lighter than the stock hood. That is alot of weight off the front!!

I was there too and saw the car Tony's talking about and I agree--you can even see the impressions the spot welds on the inner lip of the steel hood made when they made the mold, along with the very slight wrinkles you see on the inner lips of a steel hood from the sheet metal being formed. The guy that has the car we're talking about has a hoodliner installed now and you just cannot tell it from a steel hood. The only thing that gives it away is the fact that the hood release spring is now mounted on the core support rather than on the hood, and even that doesn't necessarily give it away as being a fiberglass hood. If money wasn't an issue for me right now I'd be all over one of these.

Thanks for your unbiased opinion. A lot of time was put into those extra details. This is one of the reasons the bumpers are taking so long.

Holly - What do you recommend for the hood spring w/ the fiberglass hood? Re-use the stock one or something else?
