Anyone else in the North Haven area have their neighborhood buzzed by a fighter jet???? On the computer and sounded like a jet was landing on my street! Go outside and a fighter jet is circling overhead and hitting the afterburner big time. Made the news and no one would confirm what was going on. Happened a few times and then nothing. About a half hour later here it comes again! Ran in to get the camera but that was it, nothing since. Weird!

Wow, get outside with that Camera if he comes back. You sure it wasnt Otto in his new car:biggrin:

Either someone got stupid and is in trouble or it means they're practicing for the idiot in charge to come to the neighborhood for a visit.

i live about 10 iles north of edwards afb and 20 miles south of china lake navy base, on any givin day i can watch an airshow in my driveway eavry thing form f18's to the b2, i love jet noise its the sound of freedom!

Never seen anything like this around here. It was REALLY low. BTW, been right out on the tarmac at Edwards AFB back in 76. Went out to CA to meet up with a friend in the Air Force to help him drive a car back to CT. Stayed at the barracks and even clmibed into jets in the hangar. Skinny long haired kid hopping in unattended jets. Try that today.

Connecticut needs to get a life.

CT Goofballs calling the FAA trying to "get answers".

There are way more yahoos per capita in CT than any place I've ever visited in my life.

If you hear a jet overhead and don't hear explosions or see a fireball, let it go.

Pratt And Whitney make the engines for the marines new JSF in Hartford... just maybe one has something to do with the other....

CT is doing a very good job about making that happen.

Pratt issued plant closing notices to the union for 2 plants last month.

If the union keeps its head up its *** its the tip of the iceberg. What sucks is the work WILL be going overseas.

Hey, don't be picking on our beloved state.  Living around here post 9-11 you tend to question what is going on when a jet is buzzing your neighborhood. Was really unusual to see a jet that low. Was pretty cool though, love that power.

I LIKE where I am in CT as long as jets buzzing the neighborhood doesn't become a regular thing.

CT is alright. Lot's of lefty goofballs but lots of other states have em too! I've lived in worse states when I was on uncle sams payroll. ;) Now taxes here.......well that's a whole other story!!!

try living 2 blocks from a landing strip

that's nothing, where i live i'm on one of the approaches to a few landing strips and these planes come in so low i could take out my shotty with double odd buck and take them down. i'm talking 50 feet maybe and i'm guessing it could be alittle more but i think these guys are skipping off rooftops for practice. hell i've even heard lear type jets taking off at 3-4 am and those guys make the windows shake. i'm sure the noise level is alot louder where your at but carswell AFB is about 15 miles from me and we can hear the c130's warming up and taking off. so we have gotten used to that. the one thing that scares the hell out of me is someone not making it to the strip and taking out a few houses on the way down.

If your'e not used to that kind of thing it can be alarming. I bought my Colonial Beach VA house located on the Potomic river 10 years ago after only weekend stays there. It is located 10 miles from Dahlgreen Weapons Development Facility where they blow off stuff all day long during the week only. Found that out after I bought it. Parts of the river are off limits because they fire shells into the water. Found that out after I got pulled over by the water 5.0. and saw them fire a shot into the water during the stop.
