Figured out why running pig rich .....i hope

A few weeks ago car started running rich , started getting a miss. o2 sensor lazy , got it home . Pulled the

plugs , 3 of them wet. Figure a new set of ur5 s and a fresh denso o2 sensor is probable fix. Finally took it a

couple miles today, ran even worse. Rich again...wet plugs... fortunatly it threw a code 41. Limped it home again.

cam sensor is a new ac delco a couple years old and the cap is a caspers with the LED . Had a new cap still in

box , threw that on ...no start. Pulled cap checked everything on drive , nice and tight and clean. Figured , I d

throw the LED cap back on since it sarted with that one and the led was showing it was getting voltage. Except

this time no start and no led. 7.59v on terminal B 12v supply voltage there to . Wiggled the harness , LED

comes on. Turns out gnd wire had a crease in it right at the weatherpack connector and with a slight touch it

would open momentarily. No telling how crazy it was going while driving it....not good.

Anyway , new weatherpack connector ordered for cam sensor (engine side) and the LED cam sensor cap

certainly made this a hell of a lot easier to troubleshoot. Hope his may help someone with a rich issue and i

hope the extra spacing made this easier to read

Thanks for the heads-up, that's one that will crop up more often for those of us with original wiring harnesses.

The spacing looks excellent btw, very easy to read.

No problem!... The obscure problems and fixes always help when posted. This find was certainly not what I thought was going to be the culprit, but I'll take it.
