FINALLY dropped the GN off to get painted!

Well, it got hit back in December and the quarter had a little smoosh into it. I dropped it off the other day, they're going to remove all the windows and accessories and give it a fresh coat of paint. I'm sorry to see the original paint (which was still shiny) go, but it was the only way to repair the dent properly.

I'm selling off my original (spare) GN wheels to pay for my new Telstars, so next month my car should really be looking smooth. In the mean time, no GN For a month.

Well check back in a year and hopefully they will have started it by then.

I went to Peerless Auto Body in Pompano Beach. They did a hood and fenders on a friend's red '95 Cobra a few years ago and it's absolutely flawless. He then added a new Cobra rear bumper that had a crack, once again flawless. The whole job should be about 3k and Geico is picking up about $500 of it due to the schmuck that backed into me in December. They're adding GNX louvers too. Woohoo!

Mika just finished my truck, outstanding work. I was sitting at a red light in the turn lane and got rearended by another truck, speed est. about 30 to 35 mph.

I was speechless

I thought my baby was a goner, but after some major work that I watched over like a hawk, she's almost ready for her debeut.

Peerless does do nice work. But 3,000 is kinda on the cheap side. what paint are the saying they are going to use? Don't cut up that sweet car to install those GNX side vents its going to kill it's value.

I think it was PPG, but I'm not sure. I have to run a part over there this week, so I'll check.

I don't mind if it hurts the value a bit, I want the car to look the way I want it regardless.
