what kind of terms did you guys get? 48? 60 months?

My CU won't go more than 36 months, and I only wanted 36 months from Cap One but I think they offered to go as much as 60 with higher interest.

I was starting to wonder if I'd have to get some sort of specialty auto loan to do this? I don't think just any bank will cut a check for a 20 y/o car right?

I also went to the credit union first to hurry up and get this car. guy wanted $12,500. int rate was 16% for the first 3 mon. but i already had a plan,
transferred over to a lower rate providian card hey 3.9% till the loans paid off i couldnt loose that way unless im late or miss a payment ive got it down to 6,000 so far this was started back in 2005. Plus ive got my title. payments like down to a $100 a month now but i pay more.
