Ft. Laud wasn't even on there. Most studies like that just lump Fort Lauderdale in there with Miami. I know Miami is one of the worst in the country, and my GN was stolen once. Luckily the anti theft things I have didn't let them get too far.

huntsville was #6 in the state. coincidentally my car has 6 cylinders:eek:

/me puts on tinfoil hat

Wow the worst in Missouri is 343. Which is better than the number 10 spot in Florida. Guess if you want to keep your car you should live in the country.

Miami - 935 per 100,000

Modesto, CA 1345 per 100,000 (The worst I could find)

Phoenix-Mesa - 1253 per 100,000:eek:

We need to lobby congress for those flame thrower theft prevention devices:D

Wow, after seeing the Phoenix - Mesa statistics I think I'll leave my GN in the garage. :(

Boy, I sure would... I live on 3 fenced acres in the sticks... well, it used to be anyway. People are moving out here to Queen Creek by the truck load. The crime rate has gone through the roof. Someone stole three mobile home axles off my property - they weigh 150 lbs a piece! they walked them over the fence too!

It's ok though... my property has gone up over 5 times it's original value :D :D :D :D . I get to sell off a chunk now and pay it off and build my shop... woo hoo!

I would absolutely have at least 2 theft detterrants, one of which would have to be a hidden kill switch of some type.

AZ Vic, where in Queen Creek do you live? I'm off of Hawes just north of Ocotillo. We should touch base sometime.

I like Queen Creek. The only crime I've seen in my area is when the illegal aliens go through open garages and steal yard tools so they can do landscaping work. On the bright side my house is making tons of equity.

 Theft stats not reported to NCIC:mad:

Hawaii is pretty bad about Civic thefts.
If any of you have ever visited Oahu and went to the north shore you would have inevitably seen at least 3 or 4 striped cars along side the road, it's very ugly. Thats the part of Hawaii they always seem to leave out of the brochores!

Out in the Johnson Ranch area in the rural San Tan footkill/flats there. Major x streets are Hunt hwy and Gary rd.

Would love to have you out after I get my shop built and all...

Hee hee... I can't wait :D :D :D :D :D :D
