Unfortunately no word on amateur events yet. I'm hoping it's not going to be spectator events only, but unless some group comes up and offers sponsorship I'd bet that Friday night drags are a thing of the past.

I sent an Email to them asking about Friday Night Drags and here's the reply:

Probably be crowded especially on the cooler days but the key is to get there right when it opens
and be ready to run...I used to get there at 6:00 on Friday just as they opened...then at 7:00 when
the racing started I would head to the staging lanes...I could usually get a couple of runs in before
it got real crowded...lot of guys don't get there until 8:00 or so...

Hmmm... 5 hours away. That's not horrible for a good weekend of racing. Time to buy a trailer though.
