We have approx 20 employees at my work. We are lacking a good quality First Aid Kit. What does your work use for a quality first aid kit?

We use commercial first aid kits at work, can't recall who made em but they're not that expensive. When I was in the scouts (a long, long long time ago) we had built our own, I'm sure there's a list out there on the I-net somewhere. A .50 cal ammo can would probably be what I'd use, it'd have the advantage of being water resistant. All of our trucks have one too, just a thought.

We currently have about 40 people in our 2-floor building and I am in charge of buying new wall-mount first aid kits. Most kits that you would see in the parts supply catalogs base the size of the kit on the number of employees or the work environment.

You could try Grainger, McMaster-Carr, Cintas, or Lab Safety Supply. A ballpark figure for a 50-person General Office/Light Industrial kit is about $80-100. HTH

Dumb question, but what do you do for work??

I like the suggestion of making one, although it may be cheaper to buy one complete. But if you work in some area that requires special equipment, making one may be a good way to go. Remember some items in first aid kits do go bad after time and need to be replaced.
