Went to a new performance shop called RPM today.Thay were giving free dyno pulls for the first 50 cars to show up and I was 36.The car has been running badly here lately and I was afraid to do it but I did anyway.Temp in the shop was 107* and they didnt even put a fan in front of the intercooler so it basically wasn't even there. The pulls were made on 93 and 16#.Best was 387 HP and 417 TQ, A/F ratio was 10.9:1(I know, pig rich).Didnt get to tune the FP or anything ,the car has been sputtering and throwing a code 42,but it stops if I jump out the T+.I know the ECM was pulling a few degrees of timing because I had the T+ jumped out and the chip is a 98 octane alky chip with 23* advance.I dont use alky anymore so I had the T+ set at 19* but that had to be jumped out.I was hoping for 400 HP or better.Everyone else said their #s were about 20HP lower than normal for their cars.I also got a certificate for 3 free dyno pulls for the highest turbo #s,Actually I won by default as I was the only turbo car there.

Me too :D See the post on this page....

Good #s! The heat was hurting a lot of the cars today where I was too. The best part is there was a new ZL1 Camaro there with the Stage II upgrade. Wow  The owner claimed to pay 107k for that car. It's numbers were 550hp and almost 600ft lbs.

BTW, what RPM did you take your car to, and what RPM was your peak HP?

ran it to 5600 rpm.peak hp was at 5400 and tq was at4600.TQ was over 350 from 4300 to shutoff.HP was over 350 from 4600 to shutoff.I think there is more in it in that trim if I had some airflow through the intercooler and leaned it out some as well as having the timing right on instead of pulling around 6* KR in 3rd gear because of the EST problem.Probably could have been 40HP more.

Wow, sounds like you've got a high-revver there. I never run mine north of 5200 rpms, but that's where you're making max HP. It's cool to see those kind of numbers when you know your car isn't 100% The knock probably hurt your topend too, wouldn't it? And the temps in the shop mustn't have helped. Sounds like you'll be well into the 400hp range with some tweaks, congrats! I'm jealous of you guys that have a nearby dyno, the closest Chassis dyno I know of is like 2.5 hours away.

Yeah,it seems like we are getting a lot of new performance shops with chassis dynos here.I am surprised it made power that high too.
