Just got back from a track rental and have some questions on alky use. I was getting 02 readings as low as .757 with absolutely NO knock retard and 24 lbs of boost. As long as it isn't knocking then I am OK? What direction do I go now? Do I keep upping the boost or decrease the fuel pressure. I was running 12.20's but feel there is even better ET's to be found. Best MPH was 110.

Thats about what I was running, but at 114mph. I couldn't get below a 2.0 60' on the nittos, I either spun them of the line or launched easy and spun them up about 40' out.

Most people like to run in the 770-800 range with alky. I wouldn't lower the FP too much more without an egt gauge. I finally got my car down into the 770s by turning the fp to 40 line on. This netted me an EGT of about 1635 which was the lowest of the night.

My next goal is to see why I am only running 114 instead of knocking on the door of a 120.

If you dont have an EGT then check your plugs after a run. As long as they dont look white you should be alright. If it makes you feel better maybe turn up the fp a tad but not much. Some cars like to run leaner.

Mark, my EGT's were reading between 1625 and 1655 when I was running the fastest.

23-24 psi. boost with 24 degrees timing.

02's were also in the 760-780 range.

Highest KR was 3.3 that was with 26* timing.

I started out at 22 psi. boost and 20* timing with EGT's in the 1550 area.

MPH went from 104 to 108.

Healthy mix of GT100 Sunocco and some 94.

I need to find 3-4 mph. :) Maybe it's my 140K mile cam?
