Finally went on a trip longer than forty five minutes.Beautiful trip from East Bay through the Napa Valley then up over St.Helena mountain then along the Clearlake shoreline. She ran perefect! Not a hiccup. Its a blast going over the mountain ,hairline turns,15 mph ,haha. With the Baer 4wheel discs,a little suspension mod here and there,17"wheels(spitshined)Had a blast. Many compliments at the gas stations.By the way 16mpg.I thought thats respectable for2 tons of car and girls luggage.Used more alky than i thought i would.
I see alot of people having problems on their cars on this site, ive had my share. But its so worth it.Ive had a few hot rods but my Buick is by far the most comfortable and fun with all that torque and pillow top leather seats.Gonna change ac over to newer gas soon, for next trip. Before it heats up.
Thanks to all for advise on problems ive had.Great cars! Not just fun on the strip or car shows but trips are better than i thought.Plenty of room for two of us.Got some real good pics .To big to upload?Oh well try to put em up later.
Just thought I would spread a little good chear for our Buicks .

Well its nice to hear a good reliability story for once. My car will be going on long stretches of deserted higways at night...and after spending time on the help problem boards I'm apprehensive. I was even going to start a thread asking about long drives.

i was very apprehensive, even though shes never stranded me,knock on wood,it was nerve racking till we got goin.once there i felt better about trip back.
