New J-Racing 044,external.Tuning day. I had recently changed the springs in my v/body,trying to get it to shift on its own at 5200. But its only 4800-5000 range. There,my W/B o/2's are high 10's low elevens...which is what eric was shooting for. BUT today i decided to manually shift it myself to see where it stops pulling and what would happen with the new pump ( many have said my cam should pull at least 5200 rpm and my converter is spect there as well by Dusty)...it pulled well up to 5300 maybe even5500. Problem is... 0/2's took a big leap into the twelves when it crossed 5000K and by 5500 i saw 12.5 and got knock. Alky control is at 7 and generally stays there. Not sure of the best direction here. ?? Thanks.-

I see this is your sig: in car F/press

Get someone in the passenger seat to glue an eyeball on it. Have them yell if the pressure starts to drop off so you can lift. If the pressure drops, the fuel delivery system can't keep up.

If the pressure stays OK then it is either in the tune or the injectors are max'd out.
