Flare adjusted out??

Is it possible to adjust some or all "flare shifting" out of a trans? Mine has an adjustable band pin, or is it-once the trans starts flare shifting, it too late for adjusting and only fresh frictions will be needed?

Call bruce in california & let him tell you..mine did the same & I sent the vb to him & whatever he did to it made it work great now..i think he replaced the slider..the thing the detent hooks to & shift kitted it for me & played with the servo for me..all i know is now it shifts hard on street & on track with no flare whatsoever
