Floppy shifter handle

I have a floppy shifter handle. How do you fix this? What is involved?

Serious note is the handle has broken inside very common. Try g body parts or nos4gn for a new one

Held on with a wire clip. I swapped mine out for a new one from GBody. 5 minute repair and feels as good as new

my shifter handle would slide up and down, horsehoe clip had fallen out and might have gotten vaccuumed up. I couldn't find it. Ordered a new one from gbodyparts.

black plastic internals were broken. new handle fixed the problem.
