anyone had good or bad luck with flowmaster mufflers.read somewher that gn doesnt like chambered mufflers.also which ones dont drone.

Too much back pressure for our cars. Stick with a straight thru styled muffler.

No problem. I have Flow Masters on my car now with ATR hearders , 3in. DP and 2 1/2 dual exhaust. I will be going to a straight thru design muffler soon. Hopefully I will be able to get it done before the snow comes and get some Dyno #s.

I have a pair of Flowmasters branching from the cat. The plumbing is extra large. I haven't noticed anything bad about the set up. The growl sounds cool, also.

if your actually gonna buy new mufflers please don't buy 'straight through design perforated core' mufflers, that isn't new its really old technology. If you like the straight through perforated design, as SO many do, you'll LOVE flowmasters NEW coreless muffler the Outlaw, check it out before you buy. No holes, no packing material that rots out. If you buy a perforated core muffler your buying old school and paying full price for it.
