Hey guys, every since I pulled my transmission and had it gone through over a year and a half it pukes fluid out of the vent every time I get the car out. Doesn't matter if I baby it or go WOT, it leaks regardless and I can't seem to figure out why. The fluid level is on the mark, cooler lines are clear, even installed an aftermarket cooler thinking that would help to no luck. The transmission was freshened up from a very reputable guy in the KC area so it's hard to believe it's something he did. However, I've read numerous stories about the converter being difficult to install so I'm starting to wonder if perhaps I didn't get the converter all the way seated properly. Does anyone know if the converter wasn't fully seated if it would cause this issue? My thoughts were that the converter is either engaged to the pump or it's not, there's no in-between, but then again it's a GN so it can't be that simple right?

Any thoughts from anyone on this? Thanks for any help!!

You'd have major problems if the convertor was not seated. Like a broken pump rotor. Are you sure its the vent and not the selector shaft seal. If it is the vent the somethings up with the pump setup/cross leak.

Are the tranny lines that run into the Trans tight? Mine needed a nice snug, which resolved my leak issue.
