i want to flush my old brake fluid from my system. whats the best way to hold in the combination valve button in? it seems to be in an awkward place..i have the brass comb valve if it makes a diference. thanks. Rob

I do not think you need to do that to flush the old fluid out. Just empty the master cylinder and fill with fresh. then bleed until fresh fluid comes out. That's how I did it.

I didn't hold mine in either.

Just a slower process but you can still bleed them.

Some sort of C clamp might work.

Just my .02.

C-clamp will work on the combo valve, if you want. Leave the key off, make full, slow pumps on the pedal on the RR until fresh fluid arrives and then switch sides, then the FR and finally the FL. If you have LL installed, activate it once or twice with a rear cracked, and a front.
If the m/cyl goes dry once, start all over again and DO NOT overfill the m/cyl when you are finished!!!
