Hey whats up. Im new to the turbo buicks but have had turbo cars before (gen 2 dsm, turbo z-car). I have 2 questions, 1st are there any turbo buick clubs or meets in Iowa, and 2nd what is the best source for a compairison guide as to what models and options there are and what the best starting platform is for the buck (t type, GN, ect) and also what is the most rare. I will be buying a car next week and need to make a choice buy next friday. my plan is to modify it asap, so clean and stock are of no concern to me. any input would be much apreciated. Thanks. Mike

Mike, what town are you in? I'm in Davenport and can help you if need be. -------Jeremy

dubuque, im looking at a 86 GN 25 miles south of town. It isnt perfact but the price is right ($7000). It has a pop up sun roof I dont think is stock. I have seen alot of t types for less that look nicer but I dont know if it is worth the extra money for the GN starting platform or if I should travel for a cleaner and cheper T type.

Yeah the factory sunroofs dont pop up. It's really up to you on what your willing to spend. Whichever you choose, these are very fun cars to have! Good luck! Keep in touch.

Congratulations on the purchase, welcome to TURBOBUICK.COM, the biggest and best of the turbo Buick forums, and Jeremy will see that your car is running top-notch for you.
