Jeff

what is the db level allowed? no alky is fine. i read those new laws pete was so kind to post. lead me to trade my alky kit for a double pump. my alky kit went on a trick syclone!

I don't think they mean our alky injection systems when they refer to alcohol burning cars... they're talking drag cars then I would say.

I was wondering the same. If it does not apply to our buicks with alky I might go.

So are the lights up and running and they are doing night drags that they have been promising for 2+ years:eek: Friday nights there would be a sweet alternative to Irwindale 1/8th mile...

I think the only reason funtucky has street legal drags a few times a year is to grab some govt funds.
Truth be known, they could care less about street legal hobby drivers.

What time should you be @ the track so you dont get turned away?

What is the max cars allowed?

You guys think it will be crowded?

The 18th will be less crowded? It cost more to run, correct?

Thanks

On a side note, How are you feeling Jeff? Hope all is well.

Otto, I am doing well; completely cured. Thanks for asking. I recently spoke to Larry Gable and he said you were helping him out to get his car dialed in. From the pictures that he provided to me and his description, it sounds like a beautiful GN.

Hi Jeff

I didn't know you were ill. Glad to hear you are ok now.

Haven't fired up that welder yet, bought a lathe so I've been playing with it.

For street legal days you should get there 2hrs before they open the gates.
Max of 400 run cards.
And it is possible to end up in a line that doesn't get cards, but were there earlier than cars that do get cards.
Plan on spending a loonnggg time in the tech line. If there is a car ahead of you that is a POS they don't pull it out to check it over, everybody behind that car sits while they do a long inspection.
I have actually had my run group called for their first run while I sat in the tech line waiting for inspection. And I was in B group not A group

Ok so I'm 90 % sure ill be going on sat. It's cheaper and the air should be cooler. Anyways so whose gonna be there for sure?

So I guess ill be the only one on sat huh. F*ck it bring on them V8s. Spoke to Lou Target 60 foot is 1.6 and I want to hit an 11.8 1/4 m

Fontana has oil containers if you have some oil that you want to dispose of.
