I had issues with similar wires using Champion heads and after market valve covers (barely enough wire on the passenger side to reach the spark plug)

I have THE original set of these wires on my car. The wires were fitted to a completely stock configuration and were kept tight for a clean look. Glad my set was free for allowing them to use my car. Great wires. My friend no longer works there so my GN ginea pig days are over. Also have the first boost controller they made but never fully flushed it out. My car started to miss on the dyno after 21 runs. We decided enough was enough. Ah the good old days.
