Ford bluetops? (plus 009s)

Apparently there are two different types of Ford Bluetops... 36er's and a smaller kind. How do I tell the difference? I am interested in buying a used set and wanna make sure that they are the 36lbs. bluetops. I already searched, but couldn't find the answer.

Also, 009's now have a Thrasher chip available for them! Which injectors would be better for a TA-49? Apparently the 36er's are good to go mid 11's, but there's a sale on 009's, so I wanna check with you guys. Is gas mileage different between the two? Idle or drivability issues? Thanks.

There are two kinds of FORD Blue Top Injectors.

Light Blue - 24's
Dark Blue - 36's

FYI

Red - 30's
Orange - 19's
Brown - 35 - Turbo Coupe, SVO

Go by the part number which is on the injector.

Is see that Racetronix also has Lucas/Delphi 36lb. injectors on sale. Are these the same as the bluetops, meaning will the Thrasher chips and the others work with them? Thanks.

No...Bosch made the blue tops...the Accel is reported to be the same. Check with Nick Micale who sells them.
