The 23 year old kid at the end of the block has been putting his 90 mustang together for the last two years. His Dad built the motor
, its a 306? with a good set of those Ford heads and all the matching go fast 93 Cobra bolt on parts, Cam, intake, everything. So we finally get it to run right (distributor issues) and now he thinks he has a race car. So anyway we took our cars out last nite and tangled up a few times, and on the first side by side blast, I realized right away that 12 pounds of boost on my Buick was way too much for the kids Mustang to handle. I feathered the throttle and as soon ahe shifted it seemed like he was sucked back. Since I didnt want to hurt the kids feelings I took it easy on him and turned the boost dial down a whole bunch for the next blast. We ended up at the next light and were talking back and forth when he dumped the clutch and gated me
. It was brutal, so I dropped the hammer, spun the tires a lil as the boost came on and went flying by him about 400 feet later. He couldnt believe I caught him. Hes already talking about building a turbo motor now  . Oh yeah by the way I had The Wrath (Board Member) with me and I think he still has recovered from that ride yet!
