Anyone seen a 1/2 nylon nut placed on a 1-2 accumulator pistion?

There just using the nut as a spacer to restrict the accumulator from plunging all the way. Creates more pressure. Definately a hillbilly way of going about it.

It's a crude way of shortening the stroke on the accumulator piston to increase the pressure rise rate on the band.

Mine doesn't have the piston or spring, but the inlet port needs to be blocked...
