Another heavy pontiac hitter is gary cave out of maryland now resides somewhere near pa/maryland border about 100 gtos of which 50 sport original paint including several national winners it is his 1965 irish mist gto that the franklin mint used for their diecast....i know as i set the deal up for the franklin mint.
The trick or the forsight is both these guys...started doing this when these cars were dirt cheap.....i did it also to a very small extend problem is like many working guys i sold them to buy the next one....if iit sold for more than i paid for it....it was a good plan in my eyes....never realizing that original paint 4-speed tri-power gtos would ever be worth more than 7 or 8 grand a pop....
On the plus side i do i have photos to back up my stories....and old license plates from them....

ames was one of the very first gto companies....year one started in his parents home when he was searching for firebird parts for his car....i started back in 1978 which is basically when the movement first started.....
