Looks like this might do the trick for many as it is shorter than the stack up of the Autometer 2267 / Russell 660831 at 1.6", and cheaper to boot!

Haven't put it on, yet. A friend's brother found it, purchased from:

Part #: TFD (Tube Fitting Division) 6M14C80MX
Description: 90* elbow, -6AN male to 14x1.5 male
Cost: ~$16.

I did a search and found this site Parker Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Fluid Connectors, Hose, Fittings, And Related Products , so you can go ahead and contact whichever store you want. Maybe one of our Buick vendors will start carrying them at some point.

?

Does the nut swivel independently of the fitting--if so looks like a good find --if not it may not point in the desired direction.

The nut is used as a jam nut. Screw in the fitting as much as possible then lock it in with the nut.

gnxtc2, exactly. There are two "washers" above the jamb nut. The first is a snug friction fit (can't move it by hand), the second with a large enough I.D. that the O-ring snugly fits inside and slightly protrudes above.

Russell 660831

I can't see the Russell 660831 fitting in a stock style regulator, it's has a 1/8" NPT. Full Throttle has the fitting for the stock fuel rail maybe they have one for the regulator.

Finding that metric 90 was a massive loss in time for me, good find.

As long as the opening at the reg end is not super narrow then I see no issues with it. I used an Autometer male to female with a 90 and it barely fit so that should work no prob.

Earls makes a saginaw to -6, it is used for power steering lines usually. That with a 120* hose end is the cleanest solution I know of, the -6 line will slide right on to the stock feed line which I usually use for a return.

DR.BOOSTER, I measured 0.295, and yeah, I spent a lot of time researching, too.

pacecarta & Mike, cool, looks like several options are now revealed! Mike, will you post a PN for that earl's fitting?

Thanks,

Dean

I used the Earls also, but fitted with the 90 for the -6 return it would slam into the intake.

I ran my return going towards the firewall so maybe you guys are running it towards the AC. But I think it wouldn't work regardless.

Oh yeah, I have read ALL of those. You have a sweet setup going there, for sure.

Anyone know of a East Coast supplier for this fitting?

Thanks
