I just put my frame back under the car.....have it centered pretty much on the center of body, but seems like front and rear frame rails are a little off from side to side.

When I measured frame off car, it was a little shorter on one side (total length).

Anyone else run into frames being a little off or body not exactly square? Is 1/8" too much for front rails to off?

I'm pretty sure the car was never hit hard and there is no evidence of any work on frame.

thanks,

Mark

The frame will be off a little bit, but if you center it, and adjust the body mounts on the body side, everything should line up. What exactly are you reffering to, when you state the measurements?

Hi, Thanks for the response. I am referring to my measurements from front rail to side of fender and also at rear. I measured from edge of front fender to a point on front frame rail......got about 1/8" difference between pass & driver sides.

I think I can maybe tweak front and rear to line up (keeping center of car & frame square).

Exactly where are good points to measure (factory or collision shop) to ensure body and frame are aligned???
