Frame Bracing Woes

im having a problem making my underhood frame bracing fit there aernt any bolt holes for them. i have several pairs of bracing but i cant get em to fit. is it structurally safe to drill holes in the fenders and core support to fit them or just sell em?

Its safe to drill holes if need be.

If you are trying to install the under hood braces then you will need to drill holes by the fenders. I see yours is an 83 so I guess the holes are slightly different or the lack of any. Like said above drill if necessary.

I ran into this today as well I thought they were a bolt in deal.
The bars fit like crap IMO the angled are a bit off on the ends and too wide to fit in the recessed area . I found the rear seat has to come out to put the braces in back there too . Man !!!! Nothing is bolt on with these cars !! At least I got the bumper fillers done and back on the car today !
