Free MAF pipe polishing...how much to tip?

Ok, I redid the title of this thread so more people will read it. Here's the original body of the post.

I went to a local rim shop and left my new aluminum MAF pipe and aluminum elbow for my Big Mouth kit to be polished. They said it'd be FOC (Free of charge) so of course I want to tip the guy. What's appropriate? I have no idea the value of the service. I was thinkin $25 or so...any ideas?

I'd throw him a 12 pack of Michelobe and call it even If you want to give him cash, a 20 spot seems fair to me.

Picked up the pieces...they look phenomenal! Almost chrome..but not quite..just how I like it. He said it took him two hours to sand them and polish both pieces so I tossed him $35. I'm happy, he's happy...now to POWDERCOAT!
