Fresh Air Intake System

Just curious if any folks with "fresh air intake systems" ( air filters hanging under the left front corner of the car) are seeing a "sandblasting" effect that appears on their compressor wheels?Its a given that free torque results from cooler air. Thanks

Mine is front of the DS headlights for 2 years. Compressor wheel looks brand new.

About a month ago I made a cold air setup using a 2001 Honda Accord intake setup and modified it for use on our cars. Works great and No sandblasting of the compressor wheels! Just make sure you are using a K&N or equivalent Filter. My Ricer kit came with a crappy Filter, I had heard that those filters can cause problems... Mike
