Friendly Nationwide Turbo Buick Compitition

Everyone you know that has one of our cars, should talk to everyone they know and lets all see who can have the Biggest line up of Turbo Buicks, TTA's included. I think July 4th should be the Deadline. I think this could get alot of guys together and get our community really rolling. I think Texas may have the Biggest showing, so we all should get on all the Buick Boards and Do this. Who will be the Biggest? Stay tuned. The winner State should be posted July 4th. We had a MAGNA meet last spring at Kirban Performance and up over 50 plus turbo Buicks showed up including 3 GNX's. So there is a number to build on!

This a new year and I know that can be beat, Good showing and that will be a hard # to beat, but I know just by doing this our Community can be better aquainted, have more get togethers, get the people to get these cars out of the garage and fixed(that need it) and appreciated. People should just talk to each other and set a date when all can get there. Have a Huge Bar B Q, and represent for there state. Who will have the Biggest turn out. Pics and number count, stay tuned. Sounds good. MAGNA is pretty much all about what you talk about. We help each other out and get everyone on the road. Even some of the local guys who work on them do a great job at a awesome rate. This area pretty much has it all from mild to wild. We meet once a month and at least 20 or 30 cars show. That's all year long as well. I noticed how good everyone is about helping others out on the Turbobuick boards. Some people are shy and some are out going, put the two together and things get done. Car club, organization, fun, fun, fun.
Looks like you guys have it together, thats what needs to be done all around the country. This is just a friendly state competition that I know will draw record crowds, and I know MAGNA is going to represent, is your state (meanining whoever is reading this)? Who will have the Biggest turn out? The heat is on, and it will bring lots of new friends and journeys.

Philly Turbo Six, Maybe you can give guys Ideas on how to get together

You guys have already got it together, Of course you want to be the Biggest, but its a friendly competition maybe you can give some pointers on how the other states can get together. One person shouldnt just take charge, network, it really works. Which state out there can get organized, and rounded up on a weekend, no specific date, just before the 4th of July, which is plenty of time. Which state will have the Biggest Turnout of them all. Grand Nationals, Turbo T's, TTAs, etc,etc, clean em, bring em and have fun.

Well I was talking to Dennis Kirban and he's talking about another open house this spring. So maybe we can break the numbers this time. There are several turbo buick boards so I just make sure it's posted on all of them. Advertise a good time and they will come! From the time we turn the key till we put them away it's nothing but a good time!

We've been having NEBRA picnics every fall for about 8 years. We've had as many as 57 cars show up. Now they are not all MA cars. Some are from ME, NH, CT and RI.

Magna's club I dont believe is one state either. If I am wrong please correct me Magna, but I have been to the East and its not like California or Texas, you can drive on the East Coast one hour and be in another state, another hour another state. So a statewide gets everyone in the state, to come together as one big organized event, but we are going to say the Biggest oraganized Turbo Buick representation. If it just so happens that Florida, Texas, California, Magna, or even New York wins then it will go down as the winningest and largest turnout. We have also thought about this ahead of time. The turbo buicks can have an event within an event, ravels, Bar B Que, sponsers, other old school cars to show up, But this will be strictly a "Turbo Buick event", Any car that is on the Turbo Buick sites listed will and can be represented, but others will just be for a good or outstanding turnout event of all cars.

As we stated before that was in the past this is for 2006. An organized event is the, "Main" Idea of what is going on, also to see who can bring out the most, It seems like you guys have the right Idea, Can you guys beat Magna, Florida and the others that have posted this year. Pics and the winner isnt due till July 4, 2006 so you can have alot of gatherings by then, but its the "Biggest" one that will be submitted for the best overall showing of our cars, Keep up the good work, We will definitly have some work on our hands out here in California.

MAGNA is mainly PA, NJ, MD, DEl, But it's mainly around the Philadelphia area. The states are so close and small it's not that hard to get a bunch of TB's together. If Kirban does and open house I'll promote the heck out of it like last 2 years and I bet if the weather is nice we should hit well over 60 cars. Philly you guys are already ahead of the curve, one of the guys out here in Cali thinks I forgot to take my meds. hehehehhaahhhehehe, Just a passion for our cars is what brought this Idea to a head. Represent MAGNA, I am going to be on this working hard.
