Front brake line frame clip installation

Anyone have any tricks to getting this damn clip back on? I've gotten real close to tearing up my fingers/knuckles already. It can't be this difficult to get this critter back on...is it? I haven't drawn blood in a while working on this beast. Maybe my time is due.

Easy

OK here goes, first start to push it in with your hand, (as far as you can.) Then take a hammer and hit it the rest of the way! Fixed.

I tried a hammer and all that I got was that clip shooting back at my face. Maybe I'm not hitting it right.

First you have to put your purse down! :biggrin: JK, you really have to get a good hit on it. You wont bend the bracket or anything. Just give it a good wack and it will go in.
