Thanks guys, I will try a couple of those ideas, I just got the car and thats what I was told. Will try that idea about fluid level running/not running. I have another trans from years ago that "blew" was driving it and then just went away, added fluid and went a few hundred feet and that was it, but has been in the weeds for many years. looks good except the shafts coming out from the front are rusted, could they be cleaned up, tumbled and reused or best to get a new or used one, its not going to be a high HP car just for the track, maybe 3-400hp, so I dont want to have to buy new billet stuff if I can avoid it. Where is the best place to get the pump, dont need a fancy one, just one that will work. Thanks for the tips.
