ok I just recently installed new shocks and springs in my 87 Turbo T. I've got bilstiens and eibach pro kit. which lowered the car an inch all around. the car does look better with the lower stance but the front is still kind of soft. dont get me wrong the car handles much much better than it used to but ive had other cars where when you push down on the front fender the car barely wanted to move at all and it didnt return like my T does...with a little bounce. That little bouce at 100 mph is not cool. I know your not supposed to do that kind of speed but if i do hit 100+ speeds I dont want to lose control. any suggestions anyone

i dont think it has to do with braces. its not like the car is bouncing side to side. the shock just seem kind of soft when they rebound. if that makes any sense.

I wound up going with the 3rd Gen F-Body 1LE springs with a loop cut off.

You want all the braces, and to install the Poly Body Bushings, you just don't know it yet. :)

Anything over 65, and all sorts of little tweaks can really improve the handling and response.

Might look into getting some decent brakes, the oem is pitiful compared to what can be done.

In part due to the body only have a few bolts holding it to the frame, and huge rubber bushings in there. Not to mention one's missing in the TRs.

The Bilsteins don't seem to work very well with the stiffer springs. I also have an annoying bounce. I can put up with a firm ride anyday over a floaty ride. Konis are next on my list of things to buy. Hopefully they cure the problem.

hmm....I have bilsteins and 1LE springs at full height for now and I love them. Havent noticed bouncing or anything.

How stiff are the 1LE springs? I've done most of the common mods like body bushings with delrin bushings on the ends, all braces, urethane front end rebuild with new balljoints, tie rod ends, etc. My springs are pretty stiff at a hair over 700lbs before I cut them.
