yeah that is sweet.., did you all the tubing yourself or had it done, how much did it cost you to do all that tubing?

Man, that looks great! Let us know what tubing parts you bought if you're willing to share. Oh yeah, and keep us posted on old vs. new track times!

all the tubing was bought at a local muffler shop, i happend to see the two U shaped pipes hanging on the wall,
Just some mig welding , grinding and cleaning the pipes. all in all it took about 3 hours.
total cost
189 bucks on ebay
90 bucks on pipes from muffler shop

tools needed, mig welder, chop saw, and a lift, lol

That is definately slick.

BTW, can you post the change in engine temps once you drive it around? I love the setup, but being in Phoenix I'm thinking that may not be a good idea for me if I want to drive in the summer. I still like it alot better than the PSIC. Much less work and about the same cost.

thx. guys, i live in corpus christi Texas, pretty far south. But there are several guys in town with front mounts " and a/c" and they drive all over the place.. with out over heating and the a/c blowing cold

Looks great! Very clever to route the pipes like that. That Mustang is sweet too! Oh yeah, get rid of that Fram oil filter! Use a wix or a pf52! My car would rattle on start up with the Fram. I was about to pull the motor when I saw a post about a similar situation. Changed filter to a pf52, and the problem went away. That was 20k ago.

dam, i knew somebody would spot that FRam filter. Well truth be known, i have the biggie filter, and i sent the wife to parts store with the instructions that came with the biggie adpater from RJC Racing and it had a fram part number in there, so she got the one that was at the top of the list. I perfer GM filters aswell.

The only bad thing about installing the FMIC, i just bought this car 2 months ago and havent takin it to the track , so i wont be able to compare it vrs the stock one. Still been ordering / installing stuff. Still need to install the GN1's, etc....

Hmmm, there's my budget FMIC for the T. Dang, just when I was thinking the mods were done for a while, somebody has to come up with a kickass budget FM......lol. Looks good, that's for sure, and no hacking of the car is required like on the PS I/C. Oh well, guess I know what I will be buying on Monday....:o

Well bud how does it run now? Any performance data, do ya want me to bring the Gtech2 over and run the car??

Im in the process of installing my PS intercooler in. I went a little different route, and had the end tank openings moved to the bottom. I only had to trim the headlight buckets. I will take pictures also once Im done. I am waiting on my pipes to be delivered to me, then I will have them welded together.

How did you get the grill back in? Im thinking I need to put the grill in first but not attach it, then mount the intercooler, and tighten the grill with some extensions.

I used some long 1/4 drive extensions to get the grill back in.

Im not sure how much HP the intercooler will support, the price, its cheap and its bigger than the stock one, LOL.
I have about 300 bucks in this FMIC , so either way it was a decent upgrade

not much change when driving around without the a/c on maybe 5 degress .

with a/c on 10 degree increase when idling .. Freeway speeds runs around 168-170 .. so you have nothing to worry about , just as long as you dont have a cooling problem now.

168- 170 with a/c off
180 with a/c on down freeway
190 with a/c in traffic idling " using stock fan and radiator"
on typical summer day in south texas
