For sale: 82-92 Camaro and Firebird Spohn fully adjustable torque arm, with crossmember for a 700r4/th350, driveshaft loop welded factory from Spohn.

The spohn torque arm is fully adjustable to set your pinion angle within seconds. The torque arm is also mounted to the crossmember, not the transmission relieving the stress off of the tailshaft of the transmission. This crossmember is a must if you are swapping in a TH350 or another transmission that does not have a torque arm provision.

This item is used, but in great shape, ready to install. Bushings are greaseable, and are in great shape.

$325 shipped in the lower 48.

What is the length of the torque arm? How far back from the cross member does the torque arm mount? I am trying to figue out an overall installed length for a hybrid project. Thanks

From the front mount of the torque arm, to the very 1st hole on the rear-end mount, it is 50", The hole for the 700r4 transmount, to where the front of the torque arm mounts to the crossmember, ranges from 6" to 7" due to suspension movement, it could probably travel more. You can see the front torque arm mount in the picture.

Cool, thanks. I will measure it up this weekend and let you know. I assume this is mild steel and not moly?

to behonest, i dont know. bought it used. information may be found on sphns website. i would assume it is mild steel

Hmm, I dont know how far off it is. I know Spohn sells a crossmember for the T-5. Probably not hard to modify to make work

do you know if that was ordered for a 9 inch? I'm going to have to determine if there is even a difference. I know it is a little bit of a bitch to get the stock arm on it thou. But I am tired of the 5 speed trying to punch thru the floor. Also can you post or send pics of the complete arm and mount. THX

Is the kitchen sink included ? :)

as far as I know, it is for a factory 10 bolt, but I have seen these installed on the 9" because the direct bolt in 9" rear-ends have torque arm provisions and are suppose to be "direct bolt in".
