what kind of stall is needed? Does it need to be watercooled??

Stall would all depend on application and what you were looking to do with it...
This was for my 351W mustang so our apps are, to say the least, a little different. Yes, it is a watercooled turbo, you can just feed and route back into any of your heater/coolant lines....

How big is the exhaust housing band clamp (I'm presuming you mean that it's 4"?) How big is the discharge side of the comp?

You wouldn't know what the .81 housing would cost do you?

Yes, 4" for the exhaust housing clamp. The discharge, I believe is 2 1/2"...
I honestly don't know how much the other housings go for...
