Wish that you would have posted this about a year ago.
When I was stationed on Naval Weapons Station Charleston I had both my GN and my T-Type.
Would have been nice.

There is actually SEVERAL people around you with TR'S---it just seems everyone has something broken right now.I am still trying to figure out if NCTURBOS(Keith's car)---or mine or V6BEAST(Steve) or CKBUICK(Craig's) car is going to run first?

There's one down there that should be real fast, built motor...GN1's, roller cam, V-2, T63E.........fresh trans stuffed with all Art Carr hardened goodies, 9 inch 3400 stall....and I bet it's the best looking GN in the area, slick paint, GTA 16", full monogrammed trunk kit, and full leather interior....anybody know this guy?

No I didn't go to Prototype in SC. I heard how horrible that those broke**** boomers were and I took the first thing smoking to NY. I did go to A School and Power School down there though.

greyghost, i know the car your talking about, jsut got abck from his house, john is his name, he has the leather interior, but not installed, he just sold it as a matter of fact, and it is the best looking car in town, but the is a gnx that is in close second.

ps the third saturday of every month there is a car show on 401 in garner, i was clued in t this by a few people, its sounds like the perfect thing, i have heard that 13 or so tr's have assembeled there, sounds good, what do you guys say about JUNE?

n2o I know John well, I also know the car, very well. Has he done anything else to it? Last time I ran into him was Bristol a year ago. Why did he sell the leather kit? Has he ran the car yet? I'd like to know what it'll do when he opens it up. That car has been in the low 7's 1/8 mile @ 97-98 with a stock block, heads, cam. Just a 52, 009's, V-2, Coan 10"...and lotsa boost!

Yeah Shane i sure was. Went to A school and power school in Orlando though. Then Charleston for prototype. I had heard that they moved the schools again but i guess i havent been keeping up with all the changes in the Navy for the last several years. I remember hearing that they were closing Orlando right before i got out.

I was stationed on IKE CVN-69 in the early/mid 90's.
